If you want to truly experience Lagos, (not ajebutter Lagos oo), The real Lagos, then you have to visit a couple of big open markets when you are here.

its amazing how you go to the market on a market day, its a big chaotic, somewhat relaxing environment of EVERYTHING. Yes Everything is sold on these market days. Well everything legal. From foodstuff,to clothing to car parts to stationary. Its just amazing.

For some weird reason, sometimes i find different kind of comfort in this environment. Even if i end up buying only a N100 pepper, walking around the market,(all part of working out), watching people shout at each other (conversation oh), watch people fight, and basically just experience Lagos, is a very interesting activity.
