WHAT IS RAPE??
Rape is when sexual intercourse is NON-CONSENSUAL (not agreed upon) or one or more person(s) forces another person to have sex against his or her will.
Rape includes intercourse in the vagina, anus or mouth.
IS THERE AN EPIDEMIC OF RAPE ASSAILANTS IN NIGERIA??
In 2015, UNICEF reported that one in four girl and one in ten boys had experienced sexual violence before the age of 18.
Statistics show that one in four females reported experiencing sexual violence in childhood  and  70% of these cases were more than one episode.
Over 2 million Nigerians are raped annually and only 28% of these cases are reported! Why? Because of us! Because we stigmatize rape victims.
But NO! We can not keep quiet.
We can not keep blaming the woman!! IT IS NOT ABOUT DRESSING! What entices a man to a child to rape her??? Eh???
We can not keep silent. We NEED justice.
Dear Male, It can be your daughter, sister, your niece… And your silence will speak against you!!!  Think about it!! You will never forgive yourself!!!
Dear Female, it can be your daughter, sister, niece, nephew…You can not keep silent.
We can not stop talking till justice happens!
We can not accept this as the norm, because it is not! We will not STOP! Until rapists get the punishment the truly deserve.
NO MEANS NO!
