Can you tell i am excited?

To be able to sustain your  healthy lifestyle journey, you have to eat according to your budget. One tip i always recommend is that you eat fruits and foods in season. When a food is in season it is relatively cheaper.

 

So yes, adjust your taste buds to suit your pocket size. 🙂

Presently, carrots are in season and i have been blending and juicing up a storm with it. As in, N200 carrots can be a whole lot of juice.

Before you say, Oh Doc, I don’t have a juicer…Don’t worry. You can use your blender and achieve similar results. Just blend and sieve through a mesh cloth (that cloth for sieving akamu).

You see eh, this recipe i am about to share, you have to try it and tell me how you feel. The amazing part is that it can be a meal replacement. Yes, it is actually very filling.

 

Ingredients

5 carrots

1.5 cup of diced pineapples

1 inch of ginger

1 tsp of dry turmeric or 1/2 inch of fresh turmeric

1/2 lemon

1 peeled orange

1/2 tsp of cinnamon

A pinch of cayenne pepper ( or cameroon pepper)

Juice all OR Blend and sieve.

Enjoy chilled.

 

Tell me how you enjoyed it and how your body feels. Its an excellent detox juice.

Remember, it can be a meal replacement.
